Our aim is to enhance the experience of aquarium visitors and raise their awareness of the need to protect the oceans. The solution we propose is a real-time marine species recognition mobile app, gamified to captivate visitors, and use the opportunity to instill in them the importance of protecting the oceans. 🐟

The SeaScan Paris application was nominated in the « Best Product Innovation (Guest experience/Park operations) » category, alongside giants such as Port Aventura, Puy du Fou, Asterix, etc… Together with SeaLife Paris, we travelled to Vienna, Austria, for the awards ceremony. This nomination represents the success of the SeaScan application we’ve developed! 😍
Prix Pépite 2022

As part of our D2E (Diplôme d’étudiant entrepreneur) program, we took part in the Prix Pépite 2022 competition launched by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and we’re proud to announce that we were awarded the Pépite CreaJ Ile-de-France prize! 🎉 We were awarded a handsome prize of 2000 euros, which enabled us to finance, among other things, the legal creation of Tiko Scan.

We were finalists in the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge, so we set off to pitch our project at the finals, which took place in the sumptuous setting of Monaco’s Oceanographic Museum! 🛥️ At the time, Tiko was still just an idea. We had no customer, no application, just a pitch, a prototype and a lot of determination! 😈

Antoine, technical chief of TikoScan, is most of the time coding during workdays, he’s in charge of developing applications on Android and iOS. Thanks to him, we have applications that work perfectly.
He also loves discovering nature on hikes and loves animals.

Sarah wears many hats, including content creation and design, customer communications, and she is also the one that gets to do the business trips, how lucky!
She’s been fascinated by nature since she was a child, especially marine biodiversity. Her childhood dream was to study box jellyfish in Australia.

Axel is in charge of everything dealing with real-time recognition technology. It’s thanks to him that the app is able to recognize fluently so many different species and more.
Also, he has loved fishing and exploring low tides since he was very young. He can spend days fishing without seeing the hours go by!
